MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump makes his first stop in Minnesota during his campaign.

His audience in Minneapolis Friday will be wealthy Republican donors. Trump doesn't plan to hold a public rally.

Suggested donations for the Trump event at the Minneapolis Convention Center are $1,000 to $100,000 per couple. Edina attorney Doug Seaton is co-hosting the fundraiser.

Federal Election Commission records show Trump has, so far, raised about $110,000 in Minnesota while Democrat Hillary Clinton has raised about $2 million.
