Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust

ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud traffic stop led to a drug bust Wednesday afternoon.

Police stopped a car at Second Street South and 25th Avenue South at about 1:30 suspecting the driver had a suspended license. The officer then became suspicious of the driver's true identity and booked him into the Stearns County Jail.

Authorities believe the suspect is 22-year-old Eduardo Cruz Carrizales of St. Paul. They are working with the Immigration and Naturalization Service to positively identify him.

As Carrizales was being booked into the jail, authorities found what's believed to be 90 grams of methamphetamine on him.
