Traffic Congestion on I-94 Expected in Collegeville Saturday

COLLEGEVILLE -- A big rivalry football game and a national TV broadcast will likely cause major traffic congestion in Collegeville tomorrow (Saturday).

The Johnnies will be hosting St. Thomas for a 1:00 kick-off. But, ESPN is bringing their "SportsCenter on the Road" broadcast to the campus earlier.

The State Patrol says congestion is expected along I-94 near Collegeville and you're asked to plan ahead and prepare for slowdowns. The patrol will have extra troopers on hand helping with traffic, but anyone looking to avoid the congestion can use Highway 10 and Highway 55 as possible alternate routes.

The traffic impacts are expected to be at their peak between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
