PIERZ - Two people have been hurt in a crash involving a tractor in Morrison County. The State Patrol says the incident happened just after 5:00 p.m. yesterday (Sunday) on Highway 25.

A tractor pulling  a spreader was heading south. A car that was also going south when it swerved and rear ended the spreader, causing the car to spin out of control, go into the northbound lane, and collide with another car.

The driver of the tractor was 19-year-old Kevin Pawlu of Pierz. He was not hurt. The driver of the first car was 22-year-old Elisabeth Desmond of Le Center. She has non life-threatening injuries. And the driver of the second car was 19-year-old Rachel Detschman of Rice. She has non life-threatening injuries.
