Tour The County’s Big Toys At Open House Event

WAITE PARK -- The Stearns County Highway Department is inviting area families to check out their equipment on display at an open house event tomorrow (Saturday).

The event is a celebration as April is National County Government Month. Kids and adults who attend will be free to climb into bulldozers, snowplows, and other road repair and maintenance equipment at the event.

There will also be giveaways, snacks and refreshments, and an informative historical tour of Stearns County through old pictures and maps.

The open house event runs from 9:00 a.m. to noon tomorrow at the Stearns County Highway Department building at 455 28th Ave. South in Waite Park.
