Three Vehicles Collide In St. Cloud Crash

ST. CLOUD -- Minor injuries were reported in a three vehicle collision in St. Cloud.

Officers were called to the intersection of Highway 23 and Highway 15 at about 3:30 p.m. on Christmas Day.

59-year-old Cynthia Backman of Kasota is accused of running a red light and colliding with a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Jack Poepke of Sartell.  Backman's vehicle spun out of control and struck a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Sonny Newman of St. Cloud.

A passenger in Poepke's vehicle was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with minor injuries.

Backman was given a ticket.
