Three people Arrested For Alleged Kidnapping, Burglary
ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud Police arrested three people after they received a call of a knife complaint.
Officers responded to the 500 block of 7th Avenue North shortly after 2:00 a.m. yesterday morning. Before officers, arrived, a Stearns County Deputy that was near the location stopped a car that left the scene.
A 49-year-old man from St. Cloud, was found in the car. He told police he was being held against his will. The man and 47-year-old Marvin Motten of St. Cloud, had a disagreement, which led to Motten entering the man's house without his consent and threatening him with a weapon.
Motten was arrested and is facing charges of alleged first-degree burglary, kidnapping, second-degree assault and fifth-degree possession of controlled substances. Thirty-one-year-old Sheresse McDowell of St. Cloud, and the driver of the car 40-year-old Graham Eaton from Sartell were also arrested.
McDowell and Eaton may face charges for aiding and abetting kidnapping and first-degree burglary.
No one was hurt.
