Three Arrested In Alleged Hate Crime In St. Cloud
ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud Police have arrested three men for allegedly attacking another man because he's gay.
The incident happened just before 2:30 a.m. on Monday in the alley near D.B. Searles in downtown St. Cloud.
Police say the 22-year-old victim from St. Louis Park was punched by the three men as they hurled gay slurs. He refused medical treatment.
Arrested were 24-year-old Matthew Thomas of Rogers, 21-year-old Chad Hands of Elk River, and 23-year-old Ryan Frane of St. Cloud.
