Teen Hurt While Trying to Avoid Deer

FAIRHAVEN - A 17-year-old Kimball girl was hurt in a rollover early this (Monday) morning.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says Tanika Henkel was driving on County Road 7, about three miles north of Fairhaven, at about 3:30 a.m. when she swerved to avoid a deer and went into the ditch.

Henkel was taken to St. Cloud Hospital by family members.
