Technology Summit Brings Local Leaders Together for Speaker, Workshop [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD – Local business and non-profit leaders are gathered at the River’s Edge Convention Center Tuesday to discuss the importance of using technology to creatively solve problems and grow their organizations.
The 2012 Innovation Summit includes keynote speaker Salim Ismail, a physicist and former Vice President of Yahoo!
Jeanette Bineham is the Executive Director of sponsor organization, the Center for Nonprofit Excellence and Social Innovation. She says Ismail’s presentation, “Technology Breakthroughs that will Drive Social Innovation,” is an important message that will help central Minnesota organizations grow.

The program also includes an awards ceremony honoring local companies and nonprofits for innovative projects.
Since 2009, CNESI has given a total of $10,000 in awards to organizations who demonstrate creative approaches to providing services in central Minnesota.
