Take A Kid Ice Fishing Event Sunday

ST. CLOUD -- The city of St. Cloud and Simply Outdoor Experiences are co-sponsoring this year's second annual "Take A Kid Ice Fishing" event Sunday.  It is designed to give kids a chance to learn how to ice fish, use the equipment and experience the sport firsthand.

The event will be held at Pleasant Lake, near the 400 Club, Sunday from Noon-4:00.

There is optional bus transportation to and from the lake and also from the landing to the fishing site.

Everything will be provided including tackle, bait and a light lunch of hot dog, chips and hot chocolate.

The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for kids under 18. Adults who bring a child do not need a fishing license or that day.
