SCSU President One of Highest Paid State Employees

The recently retired chancellor of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system was the state's highest-paid employee in fiscal year 2012. The rest of the top ten includes two college presidents: Minnesota State University, Mankato president Richard Davenport earned $304,514; and St. Cloud State University President Earl Potter made $303,263.

SCSU Gets Money for New X-Ray Machine for ISELF

St. Cloud State University's ISELF building is still under construction, but they're already getting their first piece of equipment for the facility. St. Cloud State will receive $120,000 in state funds to help buy an X-ray diffractometer valued at more than $365,000.

This is move-in weekend for the students at St. Cloud State University. The first year and new transfer students will arrive on Saturday. Director of Residential Life Daniel Pederson says families start by going to the "K" lot south of Husky stadium.
