The city of Sauk Rapids is dealing with some raw sewage leaking into the Mississippi River. Mayor Dave Saunders says they had a break of a pipe at their lift station at about 2:00 a.m. this (Wednesday) morning.
The Sauk Rapids city council has voted to buy some land for a possible 2nd municipal liquor store. The council unanimously approved the land purchase along Golden Spike Road, near the new SuperAmerica store.
When Aaron Salzer decided to open a new bar and restaurant, he says his number one goal was to find the right building. He says he found that building at the corner of Benton Drive and Division Street in Sauk Rapids.
