A missing Sauk Rapids woman has been found safe. The Minnesota BCA has canceled the missing person alert for 33-year-old Megan Schmelz, who was missing since Monday.

Fire crews were called to the scene of a house fire in Sauk Rapids last (Tuesday)night . Police at the scene told WJON the fire happened around 6:00 p.m. at 24 7th Avenue South. Fire Chief Jason Fleming says the fire was mostly contained to the garage.
