Heavy Rain Likely Today, Wednesday
A very unlike summer storm system will affect the Upper Midwest beginning later today, and lasting until late Wednesday night. This system will produced very heavy rainfall, strong storms, and windy conditions.

Showers and storms will increase in coverage through the day into the evening. A few strong to severe storms are possible in Minnesota this afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible.
Bad Hair Day: Wind Advisory Today
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory today (Wednesday) from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Expect sustained winds of 30 to 35 miles an hour, with gusts of 40 to 45 miles an hour.
UPDATE: Heavy Rain Possible Sunday Night, Monday Morning
An active afternoon and evening is ahead, with severe weather and heavy rainfall likely. Storms this afternoon will be most likely across central Minnesota, with a line of storms expected to work across Minnesota tonight and into western Wisconsin by Monday morning.
