After spending the last 10 days in a winter preview, we begin a gradual warmup Wednesday, which will culminate in highs back in the 50s and 60s by the middle of next week.
We have a Winter Weather Advisory Thursday until 10:00 p.m. National Weather Service says we could see up to five inches of snow. Areas in northern Minnesota are under a Winter Storm Warning where they could see up to seven inches of snow.
A Winter Storm Watch is in effect at 4:00 a.m. Thursday, with potential for another round of four to eight inches of snowfall across central to northern Minnesota.
We had 6.4 inches of snow here in St. Cloud Tuesday. That breaks the record for a one-day snowfall in the month of October in St. Cloud. The previous record was 5.8 inches that fell on October 20th, 1936.
