Arctic Blast, Round 2, Coming In This Weekend
Enjoy the mild winter temperatures today, because another arctic blast is on the way for the weekend. In the meantime, periods of light snow and patchy light freezing drizzle will be possible into Friday, with accumulations mainly from a dusting to one inch.
UPDATE: Winter Weather Advisory Continues Today
Snow will be concentrated in western Minnesota through 9 am, then in central Minnesota through noon. A band of 1-2 inches of snow that fell in the western part of the Twin Cities prior to 4 am, will likely be the main accumulation this morning, with some additional light snowfall this afternoon.

Travel impacts for the Thanksgiving holiday could start tomorrow, with a chance of patchy fog and drizzle throughout the day Wednesday. Conditions could deteriorate further for part of our area on Thanksgiving, with a chance of snow from southern MN through west central WI.
Heavy Snow Expected In Southern Minnesota, Iowa
Snow remains on track to move across Iowa, southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois this afternoon into early Saturday. Far southern Minnesota will be on the northern fringe, but will still pick up 1 to 4 inches this afternoon and evening.
