The Minnesota Department of Health reported five more COVID-19 fatalities and 956 new positive cases as numbers continue to fluctuate across the state.
Cases of COVID-19 continue to rise slightly as Minnesota has now reach over 501,000 people who have tested positive for the virus since the start of the pandemic.
The new guidance allows residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities who have received Covid vaccination to go on non-medical outings without having to quarantine upon returning home.
