The Foley Police Department was called to the 200 block of Highway 23 last (Monday) night after 10:00 p.m. for a report of a stalled car in the water on the road. Officers found several cars trying to travel on Highway 23.
Heavy rain from Monday's storms have prompted Benton County to declare a state of emergency. The move is in hopes of getting state funding to help repair several township roads that washed out due to the heavy rains.
Drivers wanting to take Stearns County Road 1 this (Tuesday) morning will have to find a different route. The Sartell Police Department says Stearns County Road 1 is closed between 9th Avenue North in St. Cloud and County Road 120, by Walmart in Sartell, due to a broken sewage pipe.
