Boy, 13, Pulled from Lake Superior Dies

A teenager who was pulled from Lake Superior off the Duluth shore has died. The St. Louis County sheriff's office says 13-year-old Jeffrey Watson Junior died about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at a Twin Cities hospital.

Father Drowns While Trying To Rescue Son On Kandiyohi Lake

Authorities say a father has died while trying to rescue his young son who had fallen off a pontoon boat on a Kandiyohi County lake. Sheriff's officials say the 45-year-old man drowned in Bass Lake while trying to save his 6-year-old son.

Authorities Investigating Child Drowning At Stearns County Park

Stearns County Sheriff's officials are investigating the death of a 4-year-old girl Monday. The girl has been identified as Alyssa Aicher of St. Cloud, her mother is 25-year-old Crystal Aicher of St. Cloud. Sheriff John Sanner says Clearwater Rescue crews and deputies were dispatched to Warner Lake Park at about 7:45 last night for a missing child. The girl was found unresponsive in the water and was immediately given CPR.

Monticello Man Drowns In Big Lake Township Swimming Pool

A 26-year-old Monticello man drowned in an in-ground pool. Emergency responders performed CPR on Riley Karn, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
