Prep Girls Tennis Update; State Tourney Individuals

St. Cloud Tech's Taylor Tarrolly won her opening match in Class AA Singles 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 over Prior Lake's Dani Keller but lost in her next match 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 to Natalie Phippen of Stillwater and Tarrolly was eliminated. The Tech doubles team of Leah Wurm and Sam Eisenreich lost their first round match 6-1, 6-4 to a team from Forest Lake before losing 6-1, 6-0 to a team from Delano in the consolation quarterfinals.

Cathedral Girls Tennis Doubles Teams Captures Title

The Cathedral girls tennis doubles team of Erin Stocker and Greta Egerman captured the section 5A doubles title at the Section 5A individual competition at St. John's University on Monday. They won 6-3-6-4 in the finals and were 2-0 on the day.
