There will be a lot of activity this (WED) afternoon at Camp Ripley near Little Falls. The Minnesota National Guard is holding a training exercise that involves law enforcement, first responders and military personnel.

A record 3,000 wreaths have been placed at the gravestones of soldiers at the Minnesota State Veterans' Cemetery. The Civil Air Patrol squadrons of St. Cloud and Crow Wing help lay the wreaths last Saturday near Camp Ripley.
It's not quite fall yet, but Minnesota snowplow operators already are getting ready for winter. The Minnesota Department of Transportation opened a two-week training program for snowplow drivers Monday at Camp Ripley near Little Falls.
