UPDATE: Suspect Arrested in Vandalism of Buffalo Churches

Police in a community west of the Twin Cities say they've arrested a suspect for vandalizing a number of churches, citing "his anger with God." Authorities say the 30-year-old man is suspected of breaking doors and stain glass windows at four churches and leaving inflammatory messages about religion and sexual orientation at two of them and two other church buildings in Buffalo.

Man Arrested After Khat Found At Buffalo Post Office

A Mankato man faces charges after a package containing the illegal substance khat showed up at a central Minnesota post office. Wright County deputies were called Saturday to the Buffalo Post Office on a report of a suspicious package. It turned out to contain khat, a dried plant commonly used in East Africa and parts of the Arabian peninsula that can give users a high when chewed.
