Sixteen years ago terrorists attacked our country and today we're honoring the victims and all who responded on September 11, 2001. St. Cloud held its 16th annual 'A Day to Remember' event to show support for all who wear the police, fire and military uniforms.
City officials and community members gathered Friday morning in remembrance of the September 11th attacks 14 years ago. Area city leaders, police and fire department representatives, area veterans and the National Guard all took part in the ceremony.
Minnesota lawmakers want to put prank callers to 911 emergency lines on notice that future fake calls could come at a price. Bipartisan legislation introduced last week would make it a gross misdemeanor to report a fictitious emergency to 911 dispatchers with the intent of luring authorities somewhere.
