ST. CLOUD --  The man accused of firing gunshots near Lake George last summer has pleaded guilty.

The Stearns County Attorney's office says 19-year-old Bryant Garth II has pleaded guilty to a charge of committing a crime for the benefit of a gang involving a dangerous weapon.

Records show Garth and a 14-year-old boy are members of a gang who got into an argument with two other boys from a rival gang. The incident happened July 30th near the Summertime by George outdoor concert, but the two groups were not in the park at the time.

According to the criminal complaint, the 14-year-old told Garth to shoot the other boys, ages 16 and 17. Witnesses say Garth pulled out a 9mm handgun and fired several rounds into the ground before running from the scene.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Officers later found the gun and linked it to bullet casings found at the scene. They also connected Garth to the gun through a Facebook post.

Garth is expected to be sentenced to just under three-and-a-half years in prison when he's sentenced April 16th.
