Sudden Death of Lino Lakes Officer Investigated

LINO LAKES (AP) - The sudden death of a 37-year-old police officer in a small Minnesota community is unexplained.

Family members of Chris Bragelman say he seemed like a young, healthy man. Bragelman was having dinner with a friend at the Blue Heron Grill in Lino Lakes when he stopped breathing early Sunday. Restaurant staff called 911, but Bragelman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bragelman and his wife, Emily, have two young children together and were raising a third from a previous marriage. Emily Bragelman says her husband's death doesn't seem real. She says he didn't have any previous health issues.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting in the investigation.
