Stearns County Sheriff Looking For Pick-Up Involved in Gas Drive Offs

ROCKVILLE - The Stearns County Sheriff's Department is investigating reports of multiple gas drive offs in the Rockville area.

One of the drive offs happened at about 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Rockville Gas and Bait.  The suspect pumped over $150 in gas and drove off without paying.

He's believed to be a white man about 22 years old.  The vehicle is described as a mid 1990's black Dodge Ram, single cab, with a large sticker in the back window.  It should also have chrome step bars and bed rails.  The bottom portion of the body panels also have been spray painted grey.

The vehicle is similar to one that has been used in numerous other drove offs in the area.

If you see this vehicle, you're asked to write down the license plate number, and then contact the Sheriff's Department.
