Stearns County Highway 22 to Close for Construction

RICHMOND -- Stearns County Highway 22 between Richmond and Eden Valley will be closed starting tomorrow.

Work will begin on the south end and take place in two phases.

Detours will be placed along Stearns County Road 9 until August 15th. The detour will then shift to Stearns County Road 43 and highway 23 while work is completed on the north end.

The work is necessary to replace pipes beneath the roadway, repair and resurface the road.

All lanes are scheduled to reopen by the end of September.
