Stearns County Extends Affordable Disposal Probation

ST. CLOUD -- A Stearns County waste hauler will remain on probation through 2011, and will have to pay $1,000.

County Commissioners approved the agreement with Affordable Disposal at their board meeting today (Tuesday).

The company was caught co-mingling garbage with recyclables in a small rural neighborhood along Lilac Road, which has limited access.

The company was already on probation for a similar violation a year ago.  An attorney for the company was hoping for a three-month probation extension.
