Stearns Co. Sheriff Investigates Calf Thefts

MELROSE -- There's cattle rustlers in Stearns County. The Sheriff is investigating three complaints of stolen calves.

The calves were in a barn or in calf hutches. It appears someone parked a distance away and walked up to the farm and carried the calves off.

The calves are described as four holstein bulls, one holstein heifer, and one jersey heifer.

The thefts happened on Friday and Saturday night in Melrose and St. Martin Townships.
