State Patrol: Motorcycle With No Lights Struck, Driver Killed
EMILY - The State Patrol says an Elk River man has been killed will riding his motorcycle with no headlights on.
The incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. last (Sunday) night on Highway 6 near Emily in Crow Wing County.
A pick-up was heading south when it moved into the northbound lanes to pass another vehicle.
The truck then struck the motorcycle being driven by 30-year-old James Buland of Elk River. Buland died at the scene.
The driver of the pickup was not hurt.
