ST. PAUL (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a 63-year-old woman was killed in a head-on crash on a freeway in St. Paul.

The Minnesota State Patrol says Mee Y. Vue of St. Paul was driving west on Interstate 94 on Monday afternoon when her vehicle crossed the median into eastbound traffic and collided with a pickup truck. The State Patrol says Vue was killed, and the driver of the truck suffered injuries that aren't considered life-threatening.

State Patrol spokeswoman Lt. Tiffani Nielson says it's unclear why Vue crossed the median.

The freeway's eastbound lanes were closed for several hours after the crash.

     An investigation is ongoing.
