UPDATE: St. Joseph Man Seriously Hurt In Meeker County Motorcycle Crash Has Died

DARWIN -- Fifty-six-year-old Michael Lodermeier of St. Joseph has died from a motorcycle crash he had last Saturday.

Meeker County Sheriff's Office says Lodermeier received severe head trauma during the crash.

Last Saturday shortly after 5:00 p.m. the Meeker Sheriff's Office responded to a motorcycle crash on County Road 14 near Darwin Township.

Lodermeier was driving his motorcycle northbound with four other motorcyclists when his bike made contact with another motorcycle driven by 54-year-old John Nelson of Garfield.

Lodermeier was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital with serious injuries. Nelson was not hurt.

The Meeker County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the crash.
