St. Cloud’s Unemployment Rate Dips to 3.5 Percent

ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud Metro area's unemployment rate is the lowest its been in eight years.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development says we're now at just 3.5 percent for September. Down from 3.7 percent in August.  That's also the lowest unemployment rate since October of 2006.

We're slightly lower than the statewide average of 3.6 percent. And also lower than the national average of 5.7 percent.
