St. Cloud Subaru Gives Back By Helping Local Boys and Girls Club [AUDIO]
ST. CLOUD -- Over the last seven years St. Cloud Subaru has been giving back to the community as part of the "Share the Love" event and this year the donation will help local kids in need.
Earlier this morning (Tuesday) the dealership presented the St. Cloud Boys and Girls club with a check of over $12,000.
St. Cloud Subaru Owner Scott Bement says when the opportunity came up to give back to a local charity he jumped at the chance.
Subaru of America, Inc has donated around $50-million to national and local charities over the last seven years.
Mark Sakry is the Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Central Minnesota. He says the donation will go into their meal programs.
The annual "Share the Love" event has donated to four national charities including ASPCA, Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels America, and the National Park Foundation.
Sakry says they are grateful to have this partnership with Subaru and have the continued support from the community.
Bement says he hopes to see all these donations continue to help local charities in the area.
