St. Cloud Mayor Names First ‘Good Neighbor’ Award Winner

ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud's first-ever "Good Neighbor Award" winner is Frank Freihammer . He was presented the award by Mayor Dave Kleis during tonight's (Monday) city council meeting.

Frank would often hook up a few small trailers to his four wheeler and pick up neighborhood kids and give them rides around the neighborhood, despite two broken necks and other injuries. Frank outdoes the Energizer Bunny and works in the neighborhood.

Freihammer is getting his own day, with tomorrow (Tuesday) being named "Frank Freihammer Day" in St. Cloud.

Mayor Kleis is planning to name recognize a "Good Neighbor" on a monthly basis.
