St. Cloud Man Gives False Report, Fights with Officers

ST. CLOUD - A 50-year-old St. Cloud man is in trouble with the law after allegedly falsely reporting a crime.  And, when the officers tried to arrest Roger Scott Thompson, he started fighting with the officer.

During the altercation, one officer suffered a sprained finger.  Thompson also stated on tape that he had intentions of stealing the officers' guns and beating them to death and/or killing them.

The incident happened at about 10:30 a.m. this (Thursday) morning in the 3700 block of 3rd Street North.
