ST. CLOUD — Authorities arrested a 29-year-old man after they discovered a marijuana growing operation at a St. Cloud home.

Members of the St. Cloud Metro Gang Strike Force and St. Cloud Drug Unit used a search warrant at 748 Washington Memorial Drive where they discovered 82 marijuana plants in various stages of growth and another 70 that had been harvested.

Police also found eight gallon-sized ziploc bags full of marijuana weighing about three pounds and a digital scale.

The value of the drugs is estimated at about $100-thousand.

Police arrested Chad Scheeler as he was leaving the home.

A search of a second home at 1509 Camden Woods Terrace uncovered evidence of marijuana use and a shotgun.
