ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud police have arrested a man after they say he ran a red light and caused a collision.

The incident happened at about 10:15 p.m. last (Friday) night at the intersection of 25th Avenue and 8th Street North.

Twenty-four-year-old Christopher Longtin went through the light while heading north on 25th, he struck another vehicle with his SUV, causing his vehicle to overturn.

The driver of the other vehicle was a 24-year-old from St. Cloud.  He had his leg pinned in the vehicle and had to be extricated with the help of the St. Cloud Fire Department.  He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.

Longtin is facing charges of Criminal Vehicle Operation, 3rd Degree DUI, Felony Possesion of a controlled substance, and a traffic light violation.
