St. Cloud Man Arrested After Police Chase

ST. CLOUD - A St. Cloud man is jailed after allegedly stealing a vehicle and leading police on a short chase.

St. Cloud Police say the incident  started at about 6:00 a.m. this (Thursday) morning in the 2500 block of 3rd Street North.

Officers located the stolen Ford Expedition in the area of 9th Street and 33rd Avenue North.  The pursuit lasted about six tenths of a mile when the SUV struck a tree.

The driver ran, but was later caught.  He's been identified as 47-year-old Frederick Bishop.
