There are so many people noticing and talking about how expensive it has been to buy food at the grocery store.  So when you can find a deal, you want to let people know about the great deal, and also make sure to stock up, if you can.  Obviously there are some things that you can't "stock up" on, but when you can, make sure you do!

A lot of people have been taking advantage of Adli's great prices.  So many people have commented to me about the great produce that they find at Aldi, and many other items as well.  You have to deal with the quarter for the grocery cart, but it is what it is when it comes to that.  I'm not sure why, since you can get your quarter back.  Except for the fact that they are probably trying to keep prices low by not having to hire the person to go out into the lot to gather up the carts a few times a day.

Anyway, this summer, Adli has announced tha tthey will be lowering prices on a few items.

Aldi is focusing on snacks, summer BBQs, and healthy foods.  From Kare 11, this is the list of foods that you can save on this Summer:

Here are a few of the summer savings shoppers can find at Aldi:

Simply Nature: Organic Granola Bars - was $3.99, is now $3.49

Southern Grove: Sunflower Kernels 16oz - was $3.39, is now $2.79

Southern Grove: Dried Mediterranean Apricots - was $3.39, is now $2.99

USDA Choice Black Angus Sirloin Steak - was $8.49, is now $6.99 (only through July 10)

Family Pack Chicken Breast - was $2.49, is now $2.19 (only through July 10)

Park Street Deli: Pulled Pork/Pulled Chicken - was $7.49, is now $6.99

Specially Selected: French Baguette - was $1.59, is now $1.49

Simms: Summer Sausage - was $4.49, is now $4.19

Season’s Choice: Frozen French Fries 32oz - was $2.79, is now $2.49

The idea is to help people keep getting together over the summer and have fun and not have to worry about the cost of food as much during the season.
