ST. CLOUD - An east St. Cloud apparel decorator is planning to expand, and add jobs. Dubow Textile on Lincoln Avenue Northeast wants to add 21,000 square feet to their current 40,000 square foot building.

Owner Rob Dubow says they also plan to hire at least 25 new full time employees over the next couple of years. Dubow says they have 75 full-time employees right now.

Dubow says the addition would be their third expansion in less than five years.

We hope to break ground yet in the month of May, if everything goes well. And, we would like to be occupying the new section by the end of August.

The cost for the project is about $2.1 million, including the building and the equipment. Dubow Textile is asking the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development for an $85,000 grant to help fund the project. The St. Cloud Economic Development Authority and the city of St. Cloud also has to approve the grant application.

Dubow Textile is an apparel decorator, with clients across the country, and internationally.
