Smokin’ Summer Fun at Famous Dave’s [VIDEO]

What a great time at Famous Dave's BBQ!

First of all, a HUGE thank you to Priscilla Crandall - or PC, as she is known in the slab-tacular circle of Famous Dave's folks!  We couldn't have done the "Smokin' Summer" promotion, enjoyed the twice weekly live broadcasts from Famous Dave's in May, learned about the YUMMY Brisket Burger (may I please have another?), or had the Feast last night without her and the help of the incredible staff at Famous Dave's.

Second, let's back up to May & our "Have a Smokin' Summer" promotion, and also say thanks to EVERYONE who stopped by to try to win that COOKSHACK electric smoker.

Famous Dave's provided a bunch of great prizes, including racks of Grab & Grill Ribs & packages of $25 Famous Dave's Pig Bucks.

In the end, out of the 8 finalists, Al Hertling from Sartell took it home, and fired it up almost immediately!

He has promised to treat me to a sample of his smoked salmon, and I will report on that when it happens.  The pressure is on, Al!

As you can tell from the photos of last night's feasting festivities, we didn't leave hungry, as all the finalists and their guests enjoyed the award winning Barb-B-Que of Famous Dave's.
