An unusual looking rabbit was spotted in north St. Cloud that looks like it has tentacles or horns. Cottontail rabbits with this unusual appearance are infected with Shope papilloma virus, also known as the cottontail rabbit papillomavirus, a wart-like condition that affects the species.

Stearns County Facility Dog, Nova now has a video. Stearns County Attorney Janelle Kendall joined me on WJON. She says due to the interest from other prosecution offices, Stearns County is making a video to show all of what Nova does.

Bowlus is a town of 279 people that was settled in the early 1900s, platted in 1907 and became incorporated in 1910. Bowlus has an operating post office since 1907, a lumberyard, meat market, hair salon, restaurant, gas station, liquor store, boutique, fire department, park with bike trail going through it, Legion, and Catholic Church.

Two people have declared that they will run for St. Cloud Mayor so far in November. Those two are St. Cloud city council person Carol Lewis and former St. Joseph city council person Anne Buckvold.

The Albany girls golf finished 2nd to Pequot Lakes at the Granite Ridge Conference meet in Milaca. Pequot finished with a team score of 341, Albany had a scored of 354, Pierz 375, Cathedral 397, Milaca 399, Mora and Little Falls were not complete.

The transfer portal in college basketball causes lots of roster changes each year. The Gopher basketball team recently filled one of their openings with 6'6 guard/forward Femi Odukale from New Mexico State.
