Short Police Chase Ends With Arrest Of 19-Year-Old Woman

ST. CLOUD - A 19-year-old woman is facing multiple charges after an early morning incident.

St. Cloud police were called to the 1300 block of 14th Street North at about 3:00 a.m. this (Friday) morning.

The incident started as a fight and property damage, as officers arrived a vehicle took off.  After a short chase of one-third of a mile that reached speeds of 40 miles an hour, the vehicle pulled into a parking lot.  Arrested was 19-year-old Luul Abdi of Owatonna.

She is expected to be charged with fleeing police, DWI, test refusal, giving a false name to police, driving after suspension, under 21 drinking and driving, and for an outstanding warrant.
