Sheriff Seeks Information on String of Burglaries

Steven Wright

UNDATED – A rash of day-time burglaries have been reported in rural Stearns County.

Sheriff John Sanner says there have been 48 reported so far this year in Eden Lake, Maine Prairie, Munson, Lynden, Avon, and LeSauk Townships, as well as in the cities of St. Augusta and Rockville.

Officials are looking for other residents who may have had strangers ring their doorbell during the day, then leave when the door is answered.

If you have information on possible suspects, contact the Sheriff’s office at 251-4240.

Also, you’re asked to keep an eye on your neighbor’s property.
