Sherburne County to Discuss Adoption of New Comprehensive 20-year Land Use Plan [AUDIO]
ELK RIVER – Sherburne County has a newly updated 20 year plan on how to use land in the St. Cloud area.
This is the first update since 2004, and they’ll decide whether to adopt it or not during Tuesday morning’s meeting.
Jon Sevald is Sherburne County Planner – he says the changes mean more land in Sherburne County will remain reserved for agricultural and wildlife purposes.

Sevald says the plan is designed not only to guide land use, but also help residential and business developers understand where they’ll be able to build.
