Sherburne Approves Contract for New Administrator

ELK RIVER -- Sherburne County commissioners have approved a contract for their new administrator. The board signed-off on the deal to pay new administrator Steve Taylor $130,000 a year.

Taylor is the current Carver County Assistant Administrator and was picked over four other finalists.

He has worked for Carver County for the last eight years. Prior to that, Taylor was the Director of Finance and Administration for the Denver, Colorado Public Library.

Taylor will replace Brian Bensen who retired August First.

He starts November 4th.
