SCTCC to Host Construction Career Fair

ST. CLOUD -- If you're interested in design and hands on learning you are invited to
St. Cloud Technical and Community College Wednesday for the construction career fair.

Programs featured at the event include, plumbing, carpentry, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration, architectural construction technology, electrical construction technology, land surveying, civil engineering and water environment technologies.

The open house will have SCTCC advisers available to answers questions about the different programs offered. Area employers will also be at the event to answer career questions. The event is from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

In 2015, 100 percent of SCTCC carpentry program graduates from were able to find a job in their field. The average carpentry wage in central Minnesota is $23.39 per hour.
