SCSU Men’s Basketball Wins; SCSU Women Fall

The St. Cloud State men’s basketball team routed Mn-Duluth Saturday night 94-74 at Halenbeck Hall.  SCSU led 62-34 at halftime and weren’t threatened in the 2nd half.  SCSU shot 58 percent from the field for the game and made 13-20 from 3-point range.  Taylor Witt led the Huskies with 22 points and Brett Putz added 19 points including 5 3-pointers.  The Huskies improve to 8-7 overall and 7-4 in the NSIC.  The SCSU women’s basketball team lost 72-47 to MN-Duluth Saturday night.  Talisha Barlow led the Huskies with 14 points.  SCSU is 8-7 overall and 5-6 in the NSIC.  The St. Cloud State men’s and women’s basketball teams will play at MN-Crookston Friday night.
