SCSU Athletics

The St. Cloud State men’s basketball team lost 64-53 in the NSIC/Stanford Health Tournament quarterfinals to Winona State Wednesday night.  SCSU shot just 30 percent from the field while Winona State shot 38 percent.  Shaun Jensen led the Huskies with 20 points and Theo Rothstein added 10 points and 9 rebounds.

St. Cloud State has lost 3 straight games and is 19-8 overall.  The Huskies still expect to receive an at-large berth into the NCAA Division II tournament.  Winona State was seeded 6th in the tournament because of the nullification of 13 games due to playing an ineligible player.
