SCSU Baseball Completes Sweep of MN-Crookston

The St. Cloud State baseball team won a pair of games against Minnesota-Crookston 7-0 and 18-0 Sunday afternoon.  SCSU won both games against MN-Crookston Friday too.  SCSU allowed a total of 5 hits in the 2 games Sunday.  Kyle Fischer threw 7 shutout innings with 4 hits allowed and 5 strikeouts to get the win for the Huskies.  Brian Hansen had 2 hits, 2 runs and 3 RBIs in game 1 for SCSU.  In game two Phil Imholte was 2-4 with 3 runs scored and 4 RBIs and Garrett Fischer was 2-3 with 3 RBIs for the Huskies.

SCSU is 35-10 overall and 20-6 in the NSIC.  St. Cloud State will play St. John’s at Joe Faber Field at 5:30 tonight.
